We are facing a LONG road to Recovery after the Disaster.

Our October 25th Flood

May 19, 2013 update - We lost 12 Rooms (The average size of a "Mom and Pop" Motel) in the Disaster, and are left with 4 rooms that were not affected by the flood. The chalets and well houses were damaged, and are being rebuilt. Insurance does not cover Land, but they had to build a road through the canyon for the demolition of our 10 Rooms.

The Wawa Disaster Relief Committee has started fund raising for the Flood Victims. The Province will match all donations 2 to 1.
